This heirloom castor bean variety will make a unique addition to any garden. Fast-growing plant with eye-catching large reddish-tinged foliage and bright red seed pods. Unlike the giant varieties which grow over 10' high, this variety will generally grow to about 4-6' and don't overpower other plants in the garden. They also have a better branching habit than most castor bean plant types. Grown as an annual in most zones, this is a tropical plant that can grow year round in frost-free regions. Looks great as a specimen plant in your garden or even grow one in a large container. Easy and fun to grow from seed.
