Nasturtiums are bright and happy little flowers and a delight to grow, adding rainbows of cheerful color in containers, beds and borders for the entire growing season. Nasturtiums are easy to grow from seed and thrives in average to poor soil. Many gardeners include them in the salad garden for culinary purposes as the leaves and flowers are entirely edible! Dwarf Cherry Rose
Tropaeolum minus
This heirloom variety has bright cherry rose blooms on compact bushy plants. Growing only 6-12" high, this is a non-trailing variety that is perfect for edging or borders, containers, window boxes and hanging baskets. You can even grow these in a bright window in winter to brighten those dreary days of winter! Colorful and easy to grow, these will bloom in only six weeks after sowing.

Alaska
Tropaeolum majus
This sturdy dwarf nasturtium variety has attractive and unique green and cream marbled foliage. Large, single blooms in five rich colors ranging from a deep red to bright yellow are held above the variegated foliage making this an attractive addition to any garden. Another non-trailing type, the height of this variety is only 12 inches.

Black Velvet
Tropaeolum majus
The darkest colored nasturtium on the market, Black Velvet has deep red-black blooms. The blooms held just above the bright blue-green foliage provides a contrasting color that is simply quite stunning! This dwarf and non-trailing variety grows to only about 12" high and will provide an eye-catching specimen for your containers, borders and garden beds. Plant them alongside a pale contrasting color for another great visual effect.

Milkmaid
Tropaeolum majus
A unique color for this genus, Milkmaid features the nearest to white blooms of any nasturtium available. The delicate blooms are more of a pale-cream to white than a true white and are quite captivating to view on moonlit nights. These are perfect to provide a soft contrast for your beds and containers. This vining variety can climb up to 6' or more with support and look outstanding when planted against a dark background.
