Originating in South Africa, Agapanthus is now grown all over the world for its beautiful flowers. Commonly known as the Lily of the Nile, these tough plants are great for rock gardens, borders, containers, or mass planted. The showy flowers are fragrant and produced on stalks that rise above the evergreen foliage. Very attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Requiring very little care, these grow well in average soil and have no major pest or disease problems.

Lily of the Nile - 3 Varieties (SAVE 29%)

Originating in South Africa, Agapanthus is now grown all over the world for its beautiful flowers. Commonly known as the Lily of the Nile, these tough plants are great for rock gardens, borders, containers, or mass planted. The showy flowers are fragrant and produced on stalks that rise above the evergreen foliage. Very attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Requiring very little care, these grow well in average soil and have no major pest or disease problems. Hardy to zone 7 and in cooler regions they make an excellent patio plant that can be brought inside as a houseplant during the winter or stored in a cool garage or shed until spring. This collection is for one packet each of three (3) Agapanthus varieties:

  • Blue Lily of the Nile
  • Getty White
  • Peter Pan

    Blue Lily of the Nile
    Agapanthus africanus

    Height is about 3 feet. Showy blue flowers are fragrant and produced on 3' stalks. The largest of the three varieties offered in this collection..
    Lily of the Nile 'Getty White'
    Agapanthus africanus

    Less common and somewhat smaller than the blue variety. Height is about 2-3 feet. Pure white blooms are very showy.

    Lily of the Nile 'Peter Pan'
    Agapanthus africanus

    Beautiful mini version of the popular original blue variety. Growing to only 12 inches high, the Peter Pan variety is the best dwarf strain available. Excellent in containers.
