Hyacinth Bean Vine 'Moonshadow'

Originally a native of tropical Asia, this improved Hyacinth Bean variety it is a wonderful addition to the garden. It is an easy to grow vine that quickly climbs any support to create a beautiful screen of attractive, dark green foliage and fragrant, purple flowers. Equally as attractive as its flowers are the glimmering, purple large seed pods that follow. 15+ Seeds.

Hyacinth Bean Vine 'Moonshadow'
Dolichos lablab

Originally a native of tropical Asia, this improved Hyacinth Bean variety it is a wonderful addition to the garden. It is an easy to grow vine that quickly climbs any support to create a beautiful screen of attractive, dark green foliage and fragrant, purple flowers. Equally as attractive as its flowers are the glimmering, purple large seed pods that follow. Grow as an annual in most zones where it will flower in summer to fall and reach an height of 8' to 10'. In frost-free areas it is a tropical and will grow year round and can reach more than 30' in length. It may also be grown as a flowering vine indoors.
