Forest Gardenia

Gardenia thunbergia or Forest Gardenia is a beautiful plant with glossy leaves and exceptionally showy flowers with a rich scent. The large single flowers are creamy white and produced through most of the year, but more so in the warmer months. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree and can potentially grow up to 15 feet in height, however it can be easily pruned to size and shape. 15+ Seeds.

Gardenia thunbergia

Gardenia thunbergia or Forest Gardenia is a beautiful plant with glossy leaves and exceptionally showy flowers with a rich scent. The large single flowers are creamy white and produced through most of the year, but more so in the warmer months. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree and can potentially grow up to 15 feet in height, however it can be easily pruned to size and shape. Most people prefer to grow these in containers, especially in areas where they require inside winter protection. Grown in a full sun location, they make wonderful houseplants and will perfume an entire room when in bloom, especially at night. The plants are half hardy and can tolerate a winter minimum of 25-30F, although young plants will require protection from frost.
