Andean Sweet Pea

This rare perennial wild sweet pea variety is native to the mountainous regions of Chile, where it is referred to as Arvejilla de cordillera, Clarincillo. A very ornamental species it begins to bloom in spring with large and gorgeous bicolored white and lilac-blue flowers. It usually grows as a bush type plant to about 2 feet high, however it can be trained with support to grow as a climber. 10 Seeds.

This rare perennial wild sweet pea variety is native to the mountainous regions of Chile, where it is referred to as Arvejilla de cordillera, Clarincillo. A very ornamental species it begins to bloom in spring with large and gorgeous bicolored white and lilac-blue flowers. It usually grows as a bush type plant to about 2 feet high, however it can be trained with support to grow as a climber. An easily grown plant, it is quite hardy and adaptable to most growing conditions, however it grows best in exposed sunny locations where there is good drainage. This plant is hardy to zone 6 and possibly zone 5 where there is good snow cover or other protection provided.
